Being shorter can add power to your punches because you are punching upwards and that can add power to a punch, Mike Tyson used to throw power shots by crouching down really low and leaping upwards, his stocky frame also added strength to his punch, very often a shorter fighter at the same weight as a taller fighter will have more power because his biceps will be bigger than the taller thinner fighter, but that`s not always the case because as a welter Tommy Hearns was around 6′1–2 but punched harder than any welter that was shorter than that height in the history of that division, his biceps were much bigger than his forearms though as at super middleweight he had 15 inch biceps which is the same size as Ali`s biceps at heavyweight during the 60`s. To counter what I just said a boxing channel suggested that AJ`s power comes fromhis muscular forearms, so it`s a complex answer.

Can you name the Top 5 punchers in each division and how many were short?
