    According to boxrec, Cruz threw 1178, Salido 1017 punches.

    2195 punches altogether... is that a record? :think

    great question!

    if it did then it would break the padilla-olivera record.

    Not a punchtrack record, because Padilla-Olivera threw 3000 punches between them. Not even a featherweight record for punches in a fight (held by Manuel Medina).

    Still a lot of punches though.

    Good for Cruz.
