In this time. Robinson, you'll be seeing him fight numerous times a year. Floyd... as good as he is his opponents don't compare to Robinsons. Seeing Robinson destroy divisions will be something to behold.:bbb

knowing what i know about robinson from his legend him every time, i get the impression by him owning a street in new york? that he was just as revered at the time.

Purely from what iv heard and read of him it must be Robinson.

But still...there's no denying that Mayweather fights arnt just a fight, it's a star powered EVENT

Its funny we hear now about fighters getting 1.2 - 1.6 million PPVs.

Robinson fights would sometimes get 20% of the national viewing at peak time.

    Different days ...

Robinson had some wars with Lamotta. As a guy who likes action fighters, I'm pretty sure my money would go to him.

Ray Robinson & its not even close, not close at all.

He`s a superior overall fighter & he is more exciting, that`s just about it to be honest.

I don`t even pay for floyd as it is (due to the pac-floyd disgrace), I`d pay for SRR every single time he fought if he was fighting today.

I'd be willing to pay $100.00 to see them fight each other.
I think it's a case of deciding between Mayweather's perfection and Robinson's boxing skills. I think PPV is bad for boxing and try not to buy them. Both Mayweather and Robinson are good reasons to break my rule.

If Floyd Mayweather was around in the Ray Robinson Era... Floyd would duck him! :rofl:lol: Plain and simple.. More so than he's ducked Pacquiao.. I actually think Floyd would move to Japan and start a boxing career their! :hat
