Shane's speech is going downhill. Compare to the interview before the 1st Forrest fight. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpVPlWjrAD8[/ame]
Interesting video I did not know about this story. Mosley is a better fighter than Forrest but Forrest has Mosley's number bigtime.
It's editing man. They clip the best pieces where Shane is talking smoothly. In the first piece he's with the guy and a bit nervous probably.
Yes he did. The story leading up to their first fight was awesome. I met Vernon Forrest in Denver before their second fight. Vernon was in town for the Golden Glove nationals and he trained at my gym. He was so down to earth. When he was finished he talked with the owner (I think he knew him from the past) and had a word with a couple of us fighters before he headed out the door. No entourage. Nothing. I saw him again at the Nationals and it was more of the same. He was surrounded by kids, taking pictures. He was awesome. I was pulling for Shane but after meeting and talking with Vernon I was all for him.
I don't see it. On a related note, Shane is one of the few people in sports who, when given a question, actually answers it instead of giving one of those stock answers "my opponent is a great fighter" and such. If you ask him about the matchup he'll actually break it down and give you some insight.
