I gotta admit I am biased against slicksters. Whenever confronted with picking between who is greater between a slickster and a man that beats ****ers down I always pick the beat down man.

During Taylor vs Spinks I was actually glad that Taylor got the decision even though I felt that spinks had won and I even defended the decision on here. In reality there is no way taylor deserved that decision but I just despise spinks' style so much.

 

Taylor outlanded him in both punches and power shots. He also didn't run.

 

I am not going to get into an argument defeding a dude that I can't stand but I'll tell you this. I thought Taylro clearly beat bhop both times, I thought that the draw with winky was fair and Spinks is my least favorite fighter and I only tune in hoping to see him get knocked the **** out.

That being said, Taylor did not do **** in that fight. He followed spinks around the ring just staring at him. Steward was begging him to jsut throw some shots but he wouldn't because he was scared to get countered by a guy who couldn't punch his way out of a wet tissue.


The judges gave the fight to Taylor simply because he was coming forward. There were a few spurts throughout where he landed a good shot but definatly not enough to deserve the fight. If it was up to me niether guy would have gotten the decision or even a draw as I don't feel that a fight even took place that night but if my arm was twisted and I had to fairly score it for someone it would go to Cory.

You are being most unfair and perpetrating a great injustice against the few posters on ESB who scrupuously strive for absolute objectivity and who flee from any hint of bias.

I'm thinking here of MacLovin/Dapperbrown, Dominga, Blocky, Redrooster, etc.

...and of course, the fairest, truest, epitome of objectivity, Jack Presscott.

There are other examples too, but the above-mentioned are some of those your assertion slanders most.


(I'll concede that ChinaHandJoe has his biases but it's not really a bias if eveything you post is true, is it ? )

 

We don't have to argue it. I stated a simple fact. He outlanded him in both power shots and overall. And he didn't run. Take from that what you will.
