IN time can pavlik be another hagler??

    pavlik is looking good so far in his career. i see a decision over hopkins .but can pavlik go on to be remembered in the same middleweight class as the marvellous one???? and if he can whats he gotta do??? or does the most of his remaining career lie at a higher weight? he says he makes 160 easy

    Pavlik aint no Hagler.

    He's good, but not that good.

    I dont know man,Hagler was a monster.........I couldnt see Kelly beating Hagler,so it would be hard for me to see him as his equal....

    Not a chance. In fact he will never even be a bernard hopkins. A prime b-hop would embarrass pavlik and could probably still pull it off when they do fight.

    More like a poor man's Monzon than anything. Stylistically that'd be a better fit.

    If I was a mod I would delete this thread in fear that more people see it and end up leaving the ESB like so many have already. :lol:

    Can Pavlik be another Hagler? Can the Jonas Brothers be another Beatles? Jesus..

    Too early to tell, His style is nothing like Monzon or Hagler. Weather he can be the next great middle is the question. Again too early to tell. Hagler/Monson are at worst in top 5 alltime middles , most in classics have them top 3. So Kelly has a way to go

    No...I have nothing against Pavlik, but Hagler would have laughed off shots that have hurt Palik.

    Kelly has a good work ethic, but Hagler trained like the real life Clubber Lang.

    I believe there is a difference in class.

    Maybe not in terms of skill. But maybe in terms of accomplishments. People just need to wait and see and not write him off so soon.

    The Jonas brothers are the next Beatles! Those guys have mad talent. Plus they are sleeping with all the young starlets like the Beatles probably did in their heyday.

    Hagler's chin was CAST IRON, I can't say the same about Pavlik.
