Jones jr is way overrated and he was juiced to the grills.

    Ggg by brutal ko
Ward by mauling and ugly ud
Calzaghe would always have beaten him on volume
Kovalev and Stevenson are 50-50 fights
    Canelo by robbery decision

Jones jr was the naz of the higher weights. Typical american flashy flash hype job. He ran his whole career from Darius michaltzewski or what his name is.

Went up to heavy to fight one of the worst beltholder of all time and then got brutally taken out by a mediocre and old tarver.

You should all start drinking some realistic stuff and not nostalgia BS

I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. But nobody is taking the above seriously.

    It's cringeworthy.

Smith has the power and reach to make life hard for a prime Roy.

The right hand that rocked Kov in the rematch v Ward would have knocked Roy out.

Canelo has better fundamentals than Roy did and is improving, he is far better than anyone Roy beat and has a better chin than Roy had plus he could ride Roy`s straight right hand, I feel he has the power to knock Roy out also, he would take Roy`s shots better than Roy would take his and would have toyed with Griffin.

Kovalev would beat Roy, he has a far better jab.

Saunders v Roy would be a great match.

Ward would have a chance, but he retired. So the answer is nobody.

Callum's doing great, but there's still questions that need to be answered.

    I don't think so.

Roy took great right hands from Ruiz and Toney.

    Get real Mark.

Canelo isn't better than Toney and Hopkins.

You feel he has the power to knock Roy out?

Did he not have the power to knock Floyd out?

Sure, he's improved since then, but you need the opportunity to land your power shots.

Look at the difference in size and speed.

How on earth would Canelo have dealt with Roy's speed?

This is Roy at 30 years old:

    Come on now.

    Be real.

You've either forgot how great Roy was, or you just never saw him.

Canelo has slow feet and a small reach.

Roy would have been far too fast for him.

You also have no idea how he'd have fared against Griffin. He's never fought anyone with that style, nor as he fought a LHW as yet.

Kovalev was a bully who folded when he couldn't intimidate Andre Ward.

He's also easy to hit, as evidenced by Pascal landing plenty of slow, telegraphed right hands.

He'd only have had a punchers chance.

In Roys era there were fighters who I felt would have beaten him -

    Benn
    Eubank
    Collins
    Calzaghe
    Rocchigiani
    Michalczewski
    Tiozzo
    Maske
    Ottke
    possibly Nunn

I think Jones was amazingly talented but often am unsure how he would have done at certain times against several other opponents

Possibly, but then how would Billy have approached the fight?

We've heard him say that he couldn't beat GG a few years ago.

He said to Eubank that GG would have beaten the pair of them.

So how confident would he have been going into the fight with a phenom like Roy?
