In today's TV era, has there ever been a boxing fight that was faked?

There are many ways in which a fight can be fixed or influenced.

    1) Judges biased (Lewis-Holy 1)
    2) Ref biased
    3) One boxer poisoned (allegedly Ali-Listion, Wlad-Brewster)
    4) Sudden changes in arrangements (ring size, glove type etc.) to throw one boxer off
    5) One boxer already agrees to hold back or lose (which is the topic of this forum)

Now like someone said earlier on this thread, there might also be cases of a boxer either deciding in advance or during the fight to quit and collect his paycheck. If he decides that in advance, you could say he fixed the fight himself. Otherwise it´s not fixing at all. Just the boxer giving up.

Now when a boxer gives up like that, it´s often simply because the other boxer doimantes him and takes his heart away. Which is a completely legit way to win. With Wlad vs Thompson, that (along with fatigue) is what seemed to happen to Thompson. I don´t think Wlad vs Austin was fixed in any way either. Austin is just very limited and Wlad did him in like he was supposed to.

There's a pretty decent argument that a number of Solis' fights have been fixed. The Collander fight also looked fixed, compared to what that guy has done in other fights. At least Van Sickle usually ends up getting knocked out anyway. I wouldn't have believed it when it happened, but after the mess with Oner and the Williams-Airich fight, I'm a lot more liable to believe that Oner would actually go about fixing some matches.

I've mentioned a few times before that I think Juan Carlos Gomez committed yaocho against Yanqui Diaz. He made it real, but he intentionally lost to try and help out his friend.
