    A fighter or an era?

...And as a secondary question; Are you reading up on anything particular at the moment?

I'm not well rehearsed on anything, really. I haven't been into boxing as long as most here have.

Marvin Hagler probably, filmed fights wise. For a few months I watched nothing but.

SRR, Monzon, Hagler, Marciano, the 1990's all divisions, Johnson through Dempsey era heavies...

I want to read those books on Fitzsimmons and Corbett that everyone here speaks of but am currently reading James Joyce.

..............80's boxing for sure. Just about everything else is a bit fuzzy, but I'm learning. My pet interest of the past few months has been collecting fights and general info. about the southern California scene in the late 60's-early 70's. Such a golden age for boxing there at that time.

I could make a living out of defending and making excuses for Lennox Lewis.

late 70's early 80's and I dont need to read up. I was there for first hand observation beats reading accounts hands down. Middleweights are my best subject but also followed other divisions

Holmes, Dokes, Weaver, Cooney, Page, Hagler, Ayala, Hamsho, Sibson, Minter, Antuofuermo, Scypion, Parker, Fletcher, Hearns, Duran, Mugabi, Saad Muhammud, Spinks, Braxton, Galindez, Scott, Lopez, Johnson, Kates, Arguello, O'Grady, Ganigan, Pryor, Chandler, Canizales, Muniz, Sandoval

Anything Tyson. As far as boxing history, I don't know near as much as some of the other guys here do.
