In an era where Alexis Arguello and Salvador Sanchez did not exist for Ruben Castillo. And where Jorge Paez did not exist for De La Rosa.

Ha Ha. But we are talking about Ruben Castillo if Alexis Arguello or Salvador Sanchez had never been born, or Jorge Paez for Johnny De La Rosa.

The modern era, certainly. Castillo, for instance, could have beaten a host of titlists from the last two decades--Gradovich, Wood, Santa Cruz, Gonzalez, Warrington, Valdez, etc.
