In what fight would a losing boxer be able to 100% defeat his opponent at the peak of his career?

Holmes didn't fight Botha. But, weirdly Google's dumbass AI thinks they did fight and think that Botha stopped Holmes.

I'd argue he DID beat Brian Nielsen but got utterly robbed. He'd have owned the record of oldest world champ ever. He'd have been 49. Would have been a perfect cap to his career.

Honestly, one of the worst robberies I've seen. He 100% deserved the win. They robbed a consensus ATG of something he absolutely earned, at an insane old age. Screw Denmark.

I agree. This isn’t a particularly useful or interesting thread imo.

funny that fighters sharing the ring with them would say the opposite, that Tyson prime was better. Bruno, Biggs, McCall, Ruddock, Holy but fans watching from the sidelines bet on Lennox and so confidently.

I don't know about that--prime Lenox was definitely a force--but peak Tyson had a ferocity that was on another level!

He would have destroyed Lewis, who was way too chinny.

    Nobody is 100%.

If you're looking for 99% likelihood, didn't Ray Robinson lose to some very unimpressive fighters in later life?
