in 2005 he had a busted ear drum (which controls balance) he had an operation, fixed the problem and hasnt wobbled since

nah nah nah having a ripped ear drum has nothing to do with balance.

balance and hearing are completly different and seperate parts of the ear

if you did your GCSE's you'll know that hair cells and liquid determine balance not ear drums.

anyways cotto has a leaky defence and can be hurt he doesnt have a weak chin but i wouldnt be too surprised if he was koed in his next outing.

In the ninth Malignaggi hit him with a 1-2 , 1 combo that had cotto wobbled for about 7-10 seconds.

But it shies in comparison to the walk that Corley beat into him. He was pop-lock-wobblin :) I thought his 0 would go when i saw that...

Yeah, he's got one of those chins where he can be hurt and stunned, but he's very hard to put away and very hard to put down even. He knows how to survive and he recovers quick. Once he does, he goes back to punishing his opponent.:good

Also, if you think about it, Cotto has never legitimately been down. If you've watched the Torres fight, althought Cotto was brutally hurt, Torres really pushed/pulled him to the ground. Cotto did not get dropped from a punch in that fight.

    LOL:D

Cotto's a great fighter and a asset to the sport of boxing. I think he's gonna make some noise mainstream in 08, good for him.
