Exactly, but Bowe beat Holy and Golota beat Bowe.

    Holyfield

    Lewis
    Tyson

Holyfield is probably the greatest cruiserweight in history that coupled with the fact that he was the two time undisputed heavyweight champ puts him way above Lewis and Tyson on the ATG scale.

    Very difficult question.

If you talk about greatness in terms of fame, recognition and impact, it´s Tyson. If you talk about boxing achievements at heavyweight, I think it´d have to be Lewis. Holyfield has a good case for himself as well in terms of overall achievements as a boxer, because he was undisputed CW champion in addition to his achievements at heavyweight. Holy did also fight the best opposition of the three but he did lose a lot of the fights where he fought top level fighters at heavyweight (2x to Bowe, 2x to Lewis realistically, 1x to Moorer who is certainly not at the level of Lewis or Bowe).

    I'd have to Say

    1. Tyson- Of the 3 he was clearly the most dominant champion which I give the most credit. Youngest HW Champ came in at a time where boxing politics fragmented the titles but managed to unify them one by one and was not only beating the alpha champs but was beating the fighters who the alpha champs fought to get the title. 12-4 in title fights the majority of those title wins came during his initial reign. The only knock on his career was he lost 2 legacy fights; Holyfield II and Lewis albeit he was far gone by the time he faced Lennox. Besides being unequivocally the best HW on the planet during his reign. He was rated number 1 on p4p list (usually reserved for fighters in lower weight classes) 3 years in a row by RING Magazine.

    2. Lewis- Of the 3 he has the fewest blemishes by remaining relevant to the division up until the end. Most people give him credit for longevity when in fact he was a professional for 14 years whereas Tyson and Holyfield have been in the game for 20 and 26 years respectively. He is the only one of the three to have beaten every man he's faced including his HW successor in Vitaly Klitschko. No one in Heavyweight history has done that to my knowledge. Although he beat both Tyson and Holyfield (twice IMO) he fought them a little past their best. He has the most title fights of all three and his record is 16-2 in title fights. Depending on your criteria Lewis could conceivably rank 1st, though I give Tyson that distinction because Tyson's reign of 1986-1990 ranks higher than Lewis's 1999-2003.

    3. Holyfield- Although he ranks the lowest it shouldn't take away that Holyfield probably has the best signature wins of all the three. Beating Tyson TKO11 and Bowe MD12 rank higher IMO than any of Lewis's victories or Tyson's victories but Evander's inconsistencies really pull him down. p4p being Cruiserweight Champ and coming up to HW gives him a higher ranking when assessing his career but this is simply the Heavyweights we are talking about. He was a hot and cold fighter who often fought up or down to his level of competition. I don't put too much stock in being 4 or 5 time champion. It really means you can't hold on to the title long.
