In What Round Will Calzaghe Shatter Glass Jaw Roy's Chin?

rjj handspeed is still mostly intact (not as fast as in his prime, but still on another level to your average lhw contender). it's his wheels that have been awful for the past few years now. he sits on the ropes too much when he paces himself, and lets the other guy score points.

 

I suspect Calzaghe seriously underestimates RJJ and that could cost him !!

If the fight is in the US, I would give Jones a good shot at this, In wales, It WILL be stopped if jones sits on the ropes.

although he is shot and old, with no legs, I feel that Jones stands some what of a chance

my 2 cents are

Watch out for the lightning FAST leading straight right hand, If he decides to fight for more than 20 seconds a round i could see that snapping joes neck back all night long

The slapping will not go down well with LV judges and with Roy's guard (aka Trinidad Fight) , I do not see Jo slapping through that guard and getting picked off with the right.

I dont think this fight is in anyway reflective of Joe, he shouldnt take this fight and the fact he is pretty much refusing to fight anyone with a pulse in his last fight!

Joe should win this fight....however if Jones shows up, I would be prepared for an upset.

RJJ has nothing to loose in this fight! Win or loose Calzaghe will go down in my rating for even taking this fight.

How about all of you idiots Go back and watch the Johnson fight. Roy, the doctor even the commentators will tell you Roy was punched in the EAR. Any fighter hit at the right point of the ear or temple is going down. Which is what happened to TITO. He got punched in the Temple and his equilibrium left.

Stop calling a dude 5 years past his prime with ONLY THREE KNOCKDOWNS/KNOCKOUTS in his career a glass jaw. CalSlappy got dropped with a one two counter my 6 year old could have blocked. Jones whoops CalSlappy by at least 5 rounds possibly stopping him. And if you dont believe the punch by Johnson was not on the jaw, here is the picture.
