I'm going 7 or 8. Murray can shell up pretty well and Sanchez seems to be encouraging GGG for rounds.
I've noticed this attitude from Sanchez too, and have wondered about it. Seems to me Golovkin, specially since his fathers death may be becoming a little impatient with his slow progress - not only that but he musta noticed (his friend) Kovalevs more rapid rise to the height of the sport and be wondering if the patient but inevitable KOs he tends to deliver are really the best way forward. Certainly Gennady came in against Geale and Rubio quite clearly seeking the early stoppage and seeming to be willing to take more risks to get it even though (as has been pointed out) it doesn't seem a strategy of which Abel particularly approves.
Yeah, Sanchez wants him to have 12rd fight. I suppose this will go to 10th round. Its also possible that GGG will struggle - every fighter has some bad nights in their career and I haven´t seen that from GGG yet. Actually in some way, it would be good for GGG to have less stellar performance for a while. He could get extra focus and motivation from that. He is only human, and when you dominate time and a time again people tend to loose some focus. Murray isn´t hard hitter so even in his worst day, he wont loose.
I can't wait to see how Golovkin reacts to the "human punchbag " hitting him back. Murray is a big MW, has a good boxing brain, good chin, tight defense, and enough pop to keep anybody at the weight honest. I'd be very surprised if Murray gets stopped.
