I have my reason's for slating Pavlik for fighting old men, which you can see if you look in the last thread I started.

Well being scared that he'll put on a better performance than Calzaghe, doesn't count.

If you feel like Hopkins will win, it makes no sense to me why you're asking why Pavlik is fighting him.

When you ask why Pavlik is fighting an old man, shouldn't you be content that Pavlik is going to seriously hurt him? If not, then you sound like either a fool or a hypocrite.

Unless the other options would beat him even more than Hopkins would....

Think about it people Hopkins will make it a very ugly and frustrating fight and Pavlik may win but wont be easy and doubt if he can get knockout against 1 of the masters of the jab and grab perfected by Wlad and John Ruiz

We're not talking about a KO...we're talking about not getting up from his stool after a late round or putting a knee to the ground to the count of 10, etc....

No way Hopkins quits on his stool. No way he talks a 10 count.

I think Pavlik will loose. Sure he's good. But Bernard is a sneaky *******. Bernard's gonna frustrate Pavlik toward a first loss.

I think Hopkins can easily outhink Pavlik, but his body wont react. I see Pavlik winning a UD, stunning Hopkins several times in the process. Only his experience and his ability to make an ugly fight out of it will make him stand on his feet after the 12th round. It will be a painful loss for Hopkins, cause he knows in his prime he would probably have taken Pavlik to school.

I still think Hopkins should have jumped on Calzaghe after he floored him. :)

Tommy, I see no such thread.

So you now have been officially reduced to "SLOTH" status.

Hopkins is not going to get knocked out by Pavlik, and if he does lose it will be simply because he cannot keep up with Kellys Punch output and the judges will give him the nod. Just watch the Calzaghe fight, same scenario, Hopkins was schooling him, but he was just fighting at a far to relaxed pace, if he had just pushed himself a little harder he would have won that fight.

In fact, that Taylor fights were the same story also. Either way Bernard is on his feet at the end of this fight.
