Yeah that guy only has 13 pro fights and only has won 3 by knockout. I suspect that he is a cutey like Chris Byrd or Eddie Chambers, Marciano was a banger.

How do you figure that one out? He could fight at cruiser right now; he'd just be undersized.

Yeah, Bejenaru isn't anything like the Rock. A better comparison would be someone like Glowacki or Lebedev.

He’s an aggressive fast high volume bob and weaving puncher.

    He isn’t gifted with power.
Which is why I suspect he moved to CW.

Marciano would be far better suited than Constantine Bejenaru at HW

Not really, there have been a lot of top cruisers who fought at the lower end of the weight spectrum.

There have also been a lot of light heavyweights who successfully transitioned to cruiser weight.

He doesn't need to put on any more pounds.

    185-190 is a cruiser weight.

No. what I typed was that's where Marciano would have fought at. That's where Weill would have had him at. Where you get a correlation with Mayweather is a long long reach---it wasn't as if the guy made chump change in his career.

Where do you think Weill puts his guy? And why?

Rocky was a 80s type cruiser 183-189 but with the weighing a different day of the fight he could make 175

I think he'd start as a Light Heavyweight, before stepping up to cruiserweight and eventually heavyweight. I think he would for sure be legit champ at Light Heavyweight, and Cruiserweight, I think the size difference would cause problems at Heavyweight. but he'd atleast be a top contender, with a bit of luck could certainly pick up a version of the title.

I don't see him putting on much weight at all, not with how he trained, unless he went on the juice, and I don't think it'd be worth comprimising what made him special to put on a bit of weight. I think he'd have to turn up to weigh-ins fully dressed, and with coins in his pocket or something.

So in your opinion, Al Weill would take lesser money and not pursue the bigger paydays?

Yes, that's very very well put.

People want to point out how hard Marciano trained. I understand. He wouldn't train that hard these days, probably. But he would strip away all that fat - yes fat - and fluid that he took to the ring upon his first sincere run at a title.

I personally think he would turn pro at 168lbs. That's debatable though.

However, the last thing he would be known as would be a cruiserweight, so of course that's winning the pole. If he went there it'd be as an oldie or as a brief pit-stop on the way to heavyweight where I, personally, would not expect to see him.
