I can basically agree with this, but except for the 1880s, 1890s, and mid-1910s, his chances are still very iffy.

    Here is the thing.

Even in a weak era, the breaks are highly variable.

For example in the 30s you might get a shot against Max Schmeling, who was always dangerous and consistent.

You might get Jack Sharkey when he was very dangerous, or you might get him when he was losing the plot.

You might get Primo Carnera, who was beatable, but very consistent.

You might get Max Baer when he was taking peoples heads off, or you might get him when he was having a blonde moment.

You might get Jimmy Braddock who was beatable, but also a bit of a spoiler.

Alternatively you might lose to somebody like Schmeling or Loughran, in the final title eliminator!

It is hard to predict what would happen to Quarry in such an era!

Very true. Obviously, the best version of Quarry beats the not so good versions of any of them. If Quarry fought the best versions I give him 50/50 against Schmeling

Make him a slight favorite over the best Sharkey

Make him the favorite over Carnera and Braddock, though both have a chance for an upset

I'd make the best Baer a favorite over Quarry but a less than perfect Baer gets outboxed
