    Morales v Barrera III

Morales took a while to get into gear & his performance was good in the end up (I had 6-6) but he never treated Barrera with the same level of respect as in the 1st two fights, he thought Barrera was on the slide because of the Pac mauling (as did I) & he was smiling in the ring before the bell (something he never dreamed of in their previous fights)

I got a bad feeling right then, if he came in in the same mindset that he came in in his next fight (vs Pac) he would have beat Barrera.
Biggest mistake of his career IMO & the one that ultimately he might regret the most as they will always hate each other.

I was really disappointed with Marco Barrera against Pacquiao in their rematch. I thought he would let it all hang out seeing as he planned it to be his last fight, but he tried to box Manny, and win on the back foot. The fight was not a shutout like the judges had it, but Barrera clearly lost a fight he should really have gave it his all. However, I can't stay mad at Barrera. He's given fans great fights for the best part of 15 years, and considering the circumstances, his showing against Marquez was a valiant effort considering how I hold Marquez in such high regard.

I think no matter what the circumstances, Morales/Barrera is always going to be a close fight. To say Morales would have won had he came in like he did against Pacquiao isn't accurate either. They are different opponents, different styles, and Morales always brought the best out in Marco. He was fabulous that night. Great fight.

    Morales was stuborn.

His hate of MAB worked against him in fights two and three..

Had Morales strictly stuck to boxing at a distance, he'd have won by comfortable margins in those last two fights.......but with his hate, he was intent on brawling.

Morales I thought outclassed MAB for the first 7 or 8 rounds of fight two......but then he led MAB dictate the tempo in the championship rounds by allowing the fight to get at closer quarters in those rounds......MAB always got the better of the exchanges on the inside.....and though I thought Morales won fight two comfortably, his stuborness allowed the judges to do what they do best.....which is give the fight to whoever the hell they please!

Btw, I had the Morales-MAB trilogy dead even.....fight one closely to MAB, the rematch clearly to Morales, and the third a draw.

Most people are heavily influenced with fight three's call by HBO......Lampley was having orgasmic spasms everytime MAB threw hands!:lol::lol:

Jones-Tarver 2, after a strong showing in round one i reinforced my beliefs that Jones came to beat Tarver silly then..........

Mosley-Cotto, I really thought Shane was gonna win this one... almost did.

Taylor-Hopkins, Although a lot of people think Hopkins won myself included, my brother was a Taylor fan and I went into detail with him before the fight how Taylor was too young and not disciplined enough to handle a master of the sport like Hopkins. For them to give it to Taylor really hurt at that specific time.

Benn v Collins II. Benn quiting on his stall was something I thought I would never see.

    Toney eating his talent away.

JMM should have finished off Pac in the 12th. Pac had the look of a beaten man and performed very poorly.

Marquez/ John- Marquez won in my eyes but he should have performed alot better than that.

Ray Leonard/Duran1- After taking a non-stop verbal beating and even having his wife disrespected, he lost his usual cool and let duran get inside his head, fought with the wrong game plan and paid for it.
