Only one I voted for was Dawson vs Johnson though I didn't see Spinks vs Phillips (Can't imagine why anyone still watches spinks)

Those were the only TWO I voted for.

Spinks is admittedly unexciting , but he was badly robbed against Phillips.

In fact, it was a far worse robbery than the robbery of Mayorga in his fight with the same Spinks.

that was one of the most illogical robberies i've ever seen.

Sturm got robbed against DLH because of the big fight with hopkins, sta. cruz got robbed against casamayor to put in a big fight with katsidis.

In this case spinks-phillips, both are not marketable and have a little fanbase but at least cory spinks is a big name through the boxing world. Its better to have spinks vs. some other marquee name rather than phillips.

ok so by that logic calzaghe won the other nine but i have to ask you based on what notion do you give him 9 rounds he didnt really land anything effective to and hopkins landed the cleaner crisper punches and displayed better defense...IMO B-Hop won it on clean punching

We must have watched different fights.

From round 4 on, Calzaghe landed a lot more punches and constantly forced Bernard to retreat. On a few occassions, Bernard tried to flurry , and each time was forced to cover up and move back. He was mostly throwing one punch, then grabbing and clinching.

He eventually ran out of gas and looked for excuses to delay the action and get rests. At first, successfully, then, the ref stopped buying it.

He did land the best shots of the fight, but far too few and far too far between. And they had no effect on Joe.

He didn't have the power to keep Joe off him.

A good effort for a man of 43, but not close to a winning effort.

People who voted for Pac-JMM II need to realise the question said winning, not whining.

Actually the Spinks/Phillips fight was not that bad. Cory engaged much more than usual

I think the only reason why Spinks/Phillips has half the votes of Pac/JMM is because a lot of people didn't see the Spinks fight

I had Lookmahanak beating Arce by a point possibly two, I had Marquez beating Pac by 3 points, I had Spinks beating Phillips by at least 4 points. I have to say I thought Chad Dawson won by 2 or 3 points over Johnson, the Road Warrior was the aggressor but the higher volume of shots were coming from Chad and for me knowing that he could not hurt Johnson, Chad boxed his way to a close but clear decision. I had Joel Julio winning by 115-113 as he was the busier fighter early on, Ishe could have won it by not being so defensive, he has lost some decisions simply by not being busy enough. He had enough skill to beat Julio and should have used it. Israel Vasquez won with the KD towards the end of the fight which sealed it for him. Malignaggi eked out the win but was far from impressive and coming off the back of his last fight seems to be a bit on the slide he cannot afford to get hit that much by Hatton thats for sure. Both Pavlik and Calzaghe clearly won their fights for me, just by being the busier fighters.

Most people who saw that fight saw JMM winning, get over it!

The only whinning being done now is by hardcore PAC fans!

I had Marquez to win the third Vazquez fight, Spinks to beat Phillips and Taylor to beat Pavlik in the rematch.

Bit unfair to say the loser for Vazquez-Marquez II as you can say there wasn't really a loser and a few may of though Marquez won...
