How do you think the K Brothers era will be viewed in years to come?

Say compared to other long reigning guys like Louis, Holmes, Lewis etc?

It was a boring era, but Wlad's dominance can't be denied. The actual level of opposition was historically weak for the most part, but a few guys like Byrd and Povetkin were quality, and the sheer amount of title defences Wlad made gets him into the top 10. He can reasonably be ranked higher than guys like Holyfield, Dempsey, Liston and Marciano in HW lists.

Vitali was just a good second fiddle to his brother, just as dominant, but his resume leaves a lot to be desired. Top 30 ATG type of guy.

Wlad is eventually given his dues and is accepted as a de facto pick for top 5 at HW and recognised as one of the most dominant champs of all time. Vitali is remembered as a fun if somewhat unaccomplished champion who was a H2H nightmare and made one of the best comebacks of all time. It was a better era than most give it credit for imo.

Got to admit, the era didn't really do much for my love of the heavyweights.
But then again, it was following on from the golden 90 s, so...

The brothers themselves will rightly be respected, but the era as a whole will not be remembered fondly.

A dominant reign of elites over a mostly forgettable overall division (sub-standard in comparison to other divisions). Then again, this describes most heavyweight eras, so not overly harsh on the K bros to be honest. Heavyweight ATGs have nearly always thrived on consistency over big wins.

I see a distinct lack of Saint Primo and TUAminator threads, so yes it has indeed gotten worse.

I agree I think Wladimir probably gets the Holmes treatment where hes more respected years later.

I'm still never going to enjoy a Wladimir fight though.

Wlad and Vitali will be seen as the giants of the era that they were, both figuratively and literally. Wlad will be locked in the top 10 and Vitali top 30. Their impact on the sport will vary depending on region of world you are from. America will see it as a boring forgettable era, Eastern Europe will see it as a seismic shift dethroning the dominance away from the Western world.

I was pretty banged up yesterday and needed a fight I could just watch mindlessly and settled on Wlad vs Haye. It was pretty enjoyable actually, the clinching was quite minimal, Wlad was aggressive, and Haye had a couple good moments. Apparently his early fights were more watchable but I haven't checked them out yet. AJ and Brewster were pretty good too iirc. But yeah, he had a lot of snooze-fests.
