In your mind, what does Alvarez have to do now to become the number 1 Mexican of all time?

    2. Cesar Chavez
    3. Ruben Olivares

    Mix the top 3 however you like but this, in my opinion, is the definitive 3 greatest Mexican fighters. Although I think Alvarez has been the benefactor of some 50/50 decisions in his career, he still is only 31 and has another 3-4 years of his peak left. I believe he's just outside this top 3, in the mix of the likes of Zarata, Marquez ect. My question is, how does he get into this top 3 over the last half of his career.

    He needs to cure AIDs and cancer to redeem any respect for fooling the boxing masses due to:

    -Fixed fights sparring affairs
    -Extensive opportunism
    -Card stacking
    -robbing Golovkin twice and Lara

    Keep racking up wins over top 10 ranked guys. Pick up a few more wins over top 3 ranked guys. Limit his losses to just a couple before he hangs them up... I feel he is closer than many give him credit for. But he will need a few years of continuing to do the above.
