Loma should slowly move up to 140, he needs to add mass to his frame, which is small in comparison to other larger 140 pounders.

He lost no doubt! Not arguing that point. Arguing against dummies making statements that Lineras did not land anything. Ridiculous! Now I need to ice my neck. Doc says I shake my head too much.

Linares has 4 Losses each one by TKO...the quality of the Fighters that Have TKOd Linares before is suspect to say the least....Loma did what we expected Him today His Stock stay's the same....

Stays the same. I knew Linares would be able to compete, since he is fast and can box well, but I knew his lack of power and durability would let him down in the later rounds against Loma.

That was a poor mans version of KTFO6.

JMM lands that punch on Chenko and it's probably lights out.

Coming off his performance vs Rigondeaux a subpar performance might put a dent in his reputation, but he was going up in weight and fighting a bigger opponent whom he defeated with a body shot KO showing us that he can slug when he has to slug. That punch was fast and accurate. :boxing1

Read the OP. That's what I was responding to initially.

    Rises.

He was able to overcome a little bit of adversity in coming back from what was a legitimate knockdown. In doing so he shows us and probably reassures himself that he has real mettle.

Then he does what any consummate pro should...he plays it safe for the last 10 seconds of that round, remained aggressive but cautious moving forward. A few rounds later he stops a very skilled, very game Linares, who by the way...had just about every physical advantage you could measure.

People saying Lomachenko’s stocks drops for showing a hint of vulnerability are misguided..., not objective or outright ****ing ******ed. He’s human...he has faults. He’ll sometimes make mistakes. All the greats did. Mental lapses, physical shortcomings, off nights, etc. It’s often how they respond in the face of adversity that they’re remembered for.

Anyone here with any love for this sport should applaud what Loma is doing.
