In your view, was George Foreman largely right in this interview about Wlad?

Every old fart thinks the fighters from their era beat anyone from the current era.

    Nope.

    I give you:

"Boxing is like jazz, the better it is the less people appreciate it!"

That's the most profound thing George has EVER said.

George is talking a lot of **** , what about this :Big George Foreman (76-5, 68 KO’s) gave WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s) a big compliment after his win over Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KO’s) last weekend, saying on his twitter “The champ Klitschko is as good as any other of the past champs. Better than me.”

Foreman should stfu. Foreman is a bum compared to Wladimir. When he was well ahead in the fight against Ali he has admited that he could have gotten up but chose to stay down on the ground.

His claim to fame is knocking out Moore with a weak lucky punch after being way behind in the fight and Moore is one of the biggest bums to be a champion in the history of boxing.

His other claim to fame is fighting well into his 40s and getting gift decisions like against Schuls.

That quote makes zero sense. Think about it. It sounds nice on the surface, but makes absolutely no sense. Maybe I just don't know enough about Jazz. People appreciate crappy jazz over great jazz? I don't think so.

  12. George was basically saying that Wlad is a big ***** and a boring safety first fighter which is very true. Wlad hits hard yes,he beats guys yes but he is scared of everyone and he can win all he wants and very few people will respect him because he doesn't have that confidence,he doesn't seem like the HW champion. He seems like he became champion by accident. The HW champion shouldn't be timid. This is why we have been waiting for someone to smash him for so long.

I doubt he was that upset by it to be honest and I should think he was picking up a decent fee for appearing on their bill.

In all fairness the defensiveness was not Wlad's idea, but Steward's idea.

So not about cowardess, but tactics from his trainer. He is just trying to carry it out.

Having said that I enjoyed watching him more in the beginning before Steward started training him.
