Congratulations on a fresh thread and not rehashing the same **** over and over again. It's nice to see an insightful post that isn't about Floyd/Pac.

yeah thanks. it struck me when i see the threads on what big fights are gonna happened in 2010. so makes me wish i had the dec threads from 2008 because looking at 2009 there wasnt anything we really got excited about....
because i think its wishful thinking with alot of the potential match ups for next year...i dont see haye and either klit fighting...as i predicted he is talking about ruiz now in may....so he wont fight after that until nov or dec....
i think valeuv vs vitali will come off, because there is no one else out there for vitali unless haye ditches ruiz

Wow, it's quite something to see all those stats put together. :-( What a sorry division. When Audley has more fights in a day than you have in two years, that's just wrong.

  6. I haven't cared about the heavy division for a long time. Haye has got me slightly interested though.

I didn't even realize Wlad has only fought once this year. For some reason I had it in my mind he's been quite active -- all the while it's been big brother doing the dirty work.

Very true. However, Wlad gets a pass because he is usually pretty active. He did have an injury which kept him out a bit longer but that isn't a normal pattern with him.

It is sad. I was surprised to see Wvlad up there. The K brothers are active (when they are not hurt).

Gone are the days where guys fight every month.

    Excellent thread.

If the fighters don't fight, it's impossible for any division to reach its potential. The numbers listed are eye-opening, and confirm that.

Thats a big problem when the klits fight someone is that casual fans have no idea who they are.

Non klit fights are hardly ever shown on HBO/Showtime anymore. The last non klit fight was Arreola and that was garbage.

I would love to see Haye/adamek and some build up to it. Especially if Roach gets Haye.

Or Haye v Wlad with a 24/7 and roach and steward on there to build the fight up

Don't forget Haye! He's fought only twice since March 8, 2008! For someone who says he wants to create excitement in the division he's done little to deliver on that statement.

Well Haye is partially responsible for the inactivity at the top of the division, ****ing around with both Klychko's then pulling out.
