That goes both ways. Taylor's resume is still better than Bud's.

Beating one man three times isn't as impressive as cleaning out a division.

Essentially putting Wilder down as 126 wins is dishonest.

140 is better than both SMW and Heavyweight. By some distance.

Not really about the same. Porter is better than anyone Taylor beat.

Prograis is a better fighter than Porter IMO. Either way, the rest of Taylor's resume is better than the rest of Crawford's despite having almost half as many fights.

Wilder had a different record for all three fights in the three separate years they fought.

I took their combined records fight by fight like the OP did.

You're the one who wants to pretend three different fights over three separate years is just one.

    **** that.

Remind me of this after the big title fight this weekend.

Is the great Khongsong on the undercard?

Porter has a better résumé my than Prograis, for definite but that doesn't make him a better fighter. Prograis is more athletic, more skilled and has a better defence while being just as tough.

Crawford outweighed Gamboa by like 20lbs, claiming that's one of his best wins is embarrassing. Brook and Khan were shot to pieces. Taylor also beat Postol, and the rest of that list isn't better than Ramirez and Barranchyk.

I will do. By the way, do you know if Tom Schwartz is fighting any time? I haven't heard of him since his fight with Fury?

Do you not remember when Wilder was fighting an assortment of washed fringe contenders for the first half of his title reign? No, of course you don't.

Or how about when Plant and Saunders were facing the legends that are Caleb Truax, Vincent Feigenbutz, Marcelo Coceres and Shefat Isufi.

It's really sweet of you to ignore the quality of the division just to focus on the soft touches.

Correct. Josh Taylor has all the belts at 140 and if he moved up to welterweight, he'd be lucky to beat anyone in the top 10 at this time.

140 is a bad division. Four pounds of "not much."

The Jose Ramirez who Taylor beat isn't even the best Jose Ramirez I've seen in my life, by a longshot.

I was happy when he won all the belts, but we'll find out more about Taylor once he moves on up.

Until then, bring on Catteral, or Khongsong, or whoever the hell he's defending ALL THE BELTS against in this SUPER GREAT division on Saturday.:hang

I live in a world where one man is one man.

If you want to pretend otherwise then go for it.

Ultimately it doesn't matter. Taylor is far more acomplished than Fury is

Prograis has not fought the level of comp to lead me to believe he's more skilled than porter. I'm a prograis fan he fights out of Houston ffs. The only elite fighter he fought is Taylor who he arguably beat but then again how good is Taylor who fights in a weak division. 147 will tell us how great Taylor is the comp just isn't as good at 140.

Yes, the guy who's last seven fights included the undefeated at the time (!) Tom Swartz, the 1 loss (!) Sefer Seferi, the incomparable Francesco Pianeta, and the at the time undefeated (!) Otto Wallin.

A true murderer's row of HW monsters.

Oh yes, and three fights against the same guy who IN THIS FORUM is routinely denigrated, laughed at and disparaged for having zero boxing skills, bad footwork, no jab, and is a mental midget.

    Yeah, that guy.
