Comical people are trying to discredit one of the sports handful of true legacy fighters who has been on an incredibly steep learning curve, taken risks from very early in his career like few others have, and has unified an entire division, beaten 5 world champions and is ranked P4P#5 in just 18 fights when the vast vast majority of his peers and fellow world champions hadn't even won a single world title at the same stage of their careers.

Who has prograis beaten? I'm still waiting on someone to answer that question. Porter > Taylor's whole resume.

It's better than SMW, HW and the 140 Crawford unified.

    It's not weak.

How was Porter a leftover when he arguably beat Spence in a super close fight?

It's no better than the 140 Crawford unified. No elite fighters there with the exception of Taylor. Crawford knew that conquered it and moved up to a real division. 140 is a stepping stone division and hasn't been good in many years. 140 ain't been **** since people like Bradley and garcia were there.

It's much better than the 140 Crawford unified. The best fighter Crawford fought there is the third best Taylor has fought. Stop embarrassing yourself and just admit it's much better now.

Crawford jumped straight to 147 after unifying 140 then proceeded to fight non entities for three years. Let's see how Taylor does now he's undisputed champ. I have a feeling he'll either be moving up soon, or taking on other prominent guys in division like Matias, Zepeda, or perhaps the winner of Lopez-Barboza if that fights still on.

I will say it again, who has prograis beaten? Ramirez isn't elite either. Some of the same guys are still at 140 when Crawford was there had prograis been ranked high enough Crawford sure as hell would've beaten him by more than a MD and Crawford destroys Ramirez. Crawford has been frozen out of big fights at 147 he schooled or demolished who they put in front of him though. Like I've always said 147 will tell everyone alot about Taylor as the division is 10000 light years better and deeper.

And I'll say it again, use your ****ing eyes. Just watch Prograis and then watch Porter. Prograis is obviously more talented, if not yet as proven. Even still, Prograis is still a proven fighter at world level. It's not like he's a Jaron Ennis or something. And no, not 'some' of the guys, just one. And he's the third best fighter Taylor has beaten. He was the best Crawford faced.

I'm not comparing Crawford and Taylor's ability. Crawford is definitely the better of the two. And he's way bigger. So I don't know why you're speculating on how Crawford would do against Taylor's opposition. And if you think Taylor-Ramirez was a close fight, then I don't know for you. Crawford froze himself out of big fights coz he was happy with easy money.

There's about four fighters at welterweight who pose a threat to Taylor. Hardly 10000 light years better and deeper.

Taylor is a tremendous fighter, a possible future HOFer, beats anyone at 140 and if Jaron Ennis or Virgil Ortiz are ever to establish a dominance at 147, they’ll have their hands full with him.

All that being said, Taylor’s current’s resume is getting grossly overrated. Many had a faded Postol beating Ramirez, though people don’t like talking about it now. One can easily argue that the undefeated Postol coming off a win over fading Matthysse is a better win than both Ramirez and Prograis. Same goes for undefeated Gamboa, as undersized as he was, the same goes for a stoppage win over Porter. Even just by the top wins, Crawford has the upperhand and when you add longevity, the success over 3 weight classes and either dominance over opposition, It’s a no contest.
