My coach is very keen on having good footwork so we do a lot of practice on that. I feel that technically I'm quite good and pretty quick. I probably seem strange but I find outmoving an opponent as fulfilling as landing a solid punch.

Shadow boxing has helped no end, but are there any specific exercises/drills that people could recommend to make my movements quicker?

Is continuing working on it while shadow boxing the only thing that I can do? I think strengthening my abs will help, what do people do on here to improve their footwork speed? Especially those little turns that get you out of danger while opening up holes in an opponent
