increasing metabolism?

    what foods are a good idea to increase metabolism? I am 6'3 235 lbs heavyweight. Want to try a quick 15 lbs. I have a plan to do 2 miles per day on the treadmill and drink 1.5 gallons of water on top of normal diet. what do you think?

    Foods that do not cause blood sugar to spike.

    Look to the glycemic index.

    no sat fat
    more essential fat
    foods that come from the ground or are natural
    less than 2500 kcals
    eat 6 small portions a day
    excercise
