Scrap, how much would a machine like that retail at?

Where did the idea come from to run in that position? Definitely a head-turner! Haha.

Price there will be 3 models, cheapest same as a good running machine I hope. O ther 2 a bit pricey, dont know at the moment theres a lot of work in them. Idea came to me waiting in a Traffic jam on Park Lane. They tell me I was the 1st to use Rubber in training, plus I noticed most of the injuries happened through Hips and legs through running because of the imbalance of the Hips. It wasnt till 96 I had a reason to trial it. Premier footballer been released through injury Torn ACL Ruptured Patela Tendon broken knee came in on crutches. Asking for help to rehab, He had a trial for another club in 12 week, begged me for help. Gave it a go for him not thinking in the time it could help, but put him on it. 12 weeks later He was playing football and signed for the other club. Thats when I thought youve got something here son. Over time the rubbers got replaced by springs and added straps, for cross overs to work different muscle groups. Altering anglels on the seat and running board for foot plant and knee lift. Now its an all Body workout. Go on it you will get fitter, everyone who has used it Has thats across the board, plus the secret is in the board :D.

A vertical treadmill will never have anything to do with S+C you clown. As I said, something like that MAY have some potential as a rehab tool but to claim it's going to improve and transfer across to performance for an already developed, healthy elite athlete... that's in the realm of fairies and unicorns. You keep saying that you're laughing, the clues are there etc. but you haven't even begun to attempt to bridge the massive gap from your fantasies to any sort of rational explanation. Keep talking about who loves it and who wants it, until it's been in numerous studies in numerous peer reviewed journals that involved the elite populations you're talking about (good luck getting healthy elite athletes wasting their time on your treadmill) then I'll rightfully continue to believe that you're an idiot trying to sell a gimmick.

I'm not really into fantasising about fairies and the superiority of vertical treadmills, I like to deal with things that are at least slightly based in reality. You're always welcome to explain, in any way. But that's not happening is it?

Not really, stroke volume/VO2max is insignificant for most athletes and there are far more important factors that determine success. Fitness is very specific to how it is trained as well, hence why you don't run marathons to get fit for the tour de france. Hence why a vertical treadmill is stupid as hell.

Okay what would occur if it was possible, while training to make the Heart more efficient, where you were working anaerobically at 140 bpm.

That doesn't make sense, even when you get up off your chair you're working anaerobically, neither anaerobic or aerobic systems are either 'on' or 'off', just in different proportions. And what do you mean by making the heart more efficient? There are a lot of things that make the heart more efficient, centrally and peripherally. If you perform aerobic focused work in a fasted state you up regulate aerobic enzymes and increase peripheral fitness, your 'heart is more efficient'. If you want to explain anything you need to be specific when you're conversing with people who have a clue.

Quite aware of that, but not by 35%, just trying to keep it simple.
