I haven't viewed this site in probably close to a year, so this is the first time on it in quite awhile. But, it is the same several people having the same arguments, throwing the same insults, and I love it! This reply absolutely contributes nothing to the thread, I completely realize this.
What are you laughing at? You're not typing this from an insane asylum are you? Delusions of grandeur, detached from reality... if anything you're claiming is halfway true then I'll read about it in a journal at some point soon and I'll stop pointing out how foolish you sound. Science is about supporting or not supporting something, your claims that it can cure cancer/aids are completely unfounded until there's a lot of research to back those claims up. At the moment it's just your anecdote about something you created (no bias or conflict of interest there :roll and a hypothesis that it could be a rehab tool coming from someone who isn't very well versed on scientific writing. Excuse me if I don't have high hopes for it
Why bring Cancer and Aids into the equation, silly. It does what it does, so much so a few Sports Science Lecturers, are questioning what they teach. In fairness, when I first came up with the idea, it was a non impact idea for repairing ACLs . Which it did rather quickly, But after lots of testing at the uni science lab, plus other things occurring. Thats why I laugh, you cant get your head round the concept, theres a reason for that
What's a 'sports science lecturer'? Sports science is a broad, encompassing term, it's not something you teach (Are they physiologists, biomechanists, strength scientists etc.?). I can get my head around it, anyone can. It's a vertical treadmill. You have to be a special kind of stupid to believe it's going to do anything for a healthy athlete. Until I see something in terms of any sort of evidence (not dribble on a website claiming that it works muscles - no **** it's going to work muscles, as long as you're moving in some way you're using muscles) I'm going to treat it as the joke it appears to be. So since I don't understand it apparently, why can't you explain it? You're making extraordinary claims and you haven't presented anything yet to back them up.
On the 1st test of many, it was found to produce 35% more lactic than overground running, wonder why that is , plus the recovery time is almost halved, wonder why that is. Any ideas .
Very basic graph: http://www.karatebyjesse.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/periodization-linear.png
Cool, I don't believe you for a second. 35% in every subject? Or was it one subject for a case study, so has little external validity? Define recovery and in what way was it halved. I don't have any ideas, because you're saying **** that doesn't make any sense. Did you give participants time to familiarise before measuring that 35%? You also produce more lactic acid running backwards or doing anything you're not used to. Can you start to see the problems with your completely unscientific claims? That's why we need more information, not just your BS anecdotes about a product you're trying to sell.
It was a uni study using 40 people, I believe them. Im not trying to sell them, its not my job. Just wondering whats your opinion, why and how that works, because it does, the clues are there .
Scrap, just wondering, I'm not as knowledgeable as dealt_with and I'm not going to argue, but I've seen you talk about this machine of yours for years, giving examples of where it's helped increase running times for example by a huge amount. I would have thought such an invention, with the claims you've been throwing out, would be huge news within the fitness industry, yet I've never heard of or seen your machine outside of this forum? Not calling BS, just wondering why if your invention is so incredibly effective why is it not a common thing within the fitness industry after all these years of talk, what's holding you back?
Basically Virus its the Testing, theres been 6 years of the stuff. Plus just want to get it spot on. nobody involved really knows which way to.. market it, it does such a wide range of things. But I think in 6 months we will start selling, just got two more places to take it as promised. One more uni and a place I cant say. I know what people think, He has lost it running laid down its crazy. Well Im laughing my bollocks of at people who think that, shows how much they know about S/C, but they will come round a little embarrassed, like others are now .
