Wow. Annihilation by Joyce. Tremendous engine and ridiculous chin. Jesus Christ. A proper hard man.

Cant wait to see what he has in store next.

    He will get avoided

but anyone with any credibility knows he is the 2nd best HW in this country next to Tyson Fury

AJ is 3rd place by about 5 miles. His crappy manufactured resume means squat.

Best performance of his career to date no doubt.

If I had any criticism of his performance against Dubois it was he didn't press his advantage at times. But tonight Joyce really turned up the heat at the crucial points of the right.

Also saw some new skills from Joyce. Starting to learn to use his size to manhandle his opponents, leaning down on Parker, using collar ties and pushing Parker's head and shoulders to control Parker's position. He might be 37 but he's still picking up new tricks.

Still plenty of manhandling Joyce can learn, but he likes keeping that space to throw his little awkward shots. The one key area where Fury cannot compete with him. It will be a gorilla clinchfest.

Fought a top 10 heavy, beat him to a bloody pulp, KO'd him, barely has a scratch on his face.

Most impressive performance by a heavyweight this year.

    Please!

Joyce's wins have been the equivalent of the team the basketball team Harlem Globetrotters hired to beat.

I think it's because Dubois is genuinely underrated now, he's a top 10 heavy. The Joyce fight was very close before the stoppage.

I just wish he was 5 or 6 years younger. He's already quite old and won't hang around long after Fury/usyk/wilder/aj etc are retired

I think Wilder will be the first to retire.

Agreed, Joyce is still a novice in this department while Fury is a veteran of the dark arts of the clinch and maul game.

Probably, but they are all getting along in age
Perhaps Joyce can fight into his 40s effectively due to his size/style and less rounds in Pro boxing

I don't agree. I don't think he's top 10 right now, though he may one day be.

The fight was competitive and closely fought but my overall impression of the fight was Joyce was ahead and Joyce was in control and dictating how the fight was being fought and Dubois was fighting at his limit while Joyce was still to step on the gas and was winning while in first gear.
