"They are extreme manipulators and plain schizophrenics. I can't believe what I'm hearing and what a tricky way they chose to run away from the fight in Bulgaria."

    Strong words from pulev.

Hearn knows that Pulev would have jabbed Whyte's head off

No wonder he's angry, Pulev thought he got one over on Hearn by holding out for the purse bid and then with Epic sports coming in with an inflated bid, likely by agreeing a cut in his purse with Epic to secure the fight in Bulgaria. But Hearn wasn't going to be so easily played like that and just made a better and more lucrative fight with Parker instead.

Pulev has to realise nobody if fighting him in Bulgaria for 25%. Breazeale said no, Miller said no and now Whyte said no. Pulev should have just accepted he'll always be the B-side and agreed terms or let the purse bid play out between Hearn and Kalle, this attempt to control the location of the fight by doing a deal with Epic has back fired badly.

I don't see why Hearn would kowtow to Pulev. He works for Whyte. Parker is a more intriguing fight for the fans than Pulev anyways.

It was a million pound fight in Bulgaria with Pulev earning 75%.. Yet they're surprised that Wyatt and Hearns bounced and took a better fight ? :rolleye::eyebrow2:

They should have negotiated better terms instead of using Epic sports to blow them out in the purse bids.

Pulev isn't annoyed that Hearn pulled out, he's annoyed that he was massively dishonest and messed then about to the last second.

If Hearn didn't want the fight or thought there was a better one out there, he should say that. Instead he lies to them, pretends to negotiate and then lies to the media saying he was forced to make another fight as they don't have the money and Pulev can't be trusted.

Regardless of what you think of this fight, Hearn is clearly a scumbag.

Pulev was stalling and asking for more time to fight AJ and then when he got denied more time for preparation suddenly got an injury. Now he got some shady promoter to win the purse bid this time and screwed Hearn for the 2nd time.

At the end of the day i think now Pulev can fight lesser opponent while waiting for AJ fight but you have to ask yourself is that what he really wants and is Hearn going to let him ever fight AJ again ? May be Pulev wants to fight for the vacant IBF rather than AJ as well , less money but winnable fight and can milk the title then. Its a mess.

Im from Bulgaria and have to support Pulev i guess or something but just cant at this point at all.

I don't think Hearn was messing with him or deceiving him. If the fight had been on Hearns terms it might of happened. He tried to appeal to the IBF to change the 72/25 split because they clearly were not happy with that. Had they won the bid or at least the fight been in the UK they might have still gone ahead. What they didn't want was to be screwed on the purse and on the location via Pulev's deal with Epic sports.

Pulev simply over played his hand. He thought he could use the IBF and Epic to get a fight 100% on his terms, but fact is Whyte never needed Pulev as proven by Hearn's move.

The plan was never to fight Parker. Parker himself said that they came to a deal in 48 hrs, that sounds like it was a last minute decision to make this fight, it wasn't something they had been working on for a while so I doubt Hearn ever had the intention of pulling out until Pulev and Epic tried making the fight in Bulgaria. Before all the talk was for the fight to be in the US from Epic and Hearn was trying to secure the right for the fight in the UK, but because Pulev with Epic then decided it would be in Bulgaria, Hearn basically walked away and made the deal with Parker.

This fight is all about Whyte, it ain't an eliminator; if Parker wins he is not next in line and if Whyte wins via a Brit decision he just becomes a cherry pick and not a mando. Hearn has a brass neck making this an sbo fight also. He must think the Femi gravy train applies to every bum on his roster.

It will be Dimitrenko vs Pulev rematch for the IBF eliminator.Dont think that Dimitrenko done anything to deserve that fight but hes in top 10 of IBF rankings so whatever.

Oh no no no, we don't do that logic stuff here, buddy. Don't you know? Hearn is the devil incarnate and deserves burning at the stake.

Seriously people, the contract was never signed, there's no real underhandedness going on here and your predictable attempts to prove otherwise are just manifestations of your obvious bias. Pulev took a big risk by holding out for purse bids and it backfired. It's entirely his prerogative to try and get the best deal just like it's well within Whyte's rights to do likewise. Whyte didn't want to fight in Bulgaria for 25% nor did he want to wait until August but Hearn is the worlds biggest villain for brokering a fight between two top ten contenders in their prime? Give it a ****ing rest.

You can either criticize both parties for being greedy or you can criticize neither for acting in their best interests. But you can't pretend that Pulev holding out for 75% and Whyte finding a PPV alternative aren't decisions influenced by the same motive: $$$.
