Hey, Manos De Tiedras started it with his load of BS and he sure wasn't promoting Hagler! Didn't you start at the beginning of this thread? Ray didn't need any help being discreditied-he did a good enough job by himself, what with rampant cocaine use, spousal abuse etc etc. On the other hand he has done a lot of good on the promoting and training side of things, as well as the work he has done with kids. So don't discredit your senior status Dave. It doesn't become you.:nono

Hagler was not washed up completely because I still had him winning the fight. The only way Hagler was going to with that fight was to knock out SRL.

 

Hagler was fading two years before the matchup, Ray took advantage of that, and Marvin was at fault for not demanding Ray to fight 15.
