Indoor boxing stands

    What are the options here, gents?

    I don't really fancy paying 120 quid for a shop bought stand.

    which doesn't drill into a wall, probably.

    I'v looked around and I doubt you'd find a good sturdy one for under £120
    unless you go second hand or look on eBay

    Ceiling mount is the only way to go.

    I had a freestanding setup for years and even with 200 lbs of weight on it, I could make it walk across my basement floor if I let loose on it.

    I bought one of those body opponent bags, the solid red type. I hit it for about 2 years and it held its own, but in the last few months as I got more powerful I ripped the head off it and now just plastic remains. I'm only a 140lb teenager though, for a big, fully grown bloke I don't think they're much use because they'll swing way too much.
