Fcuk both Canelo and Lara man.

Cinamon boy got two pair of feet soaked in concrete and can't cut the ring off even if his life depended on it. Kids overrated BIG TIME. Any decent mover who lets his hands go beats the ginger out of him.

And Lara, what a frustrating fighter. I've never seen him fight before except for the Williams fight and a bunch of his amateur fight and i thought he was the goods. And he is, he just doesn't freaking punch at ALL. From what i saw, he should've dominated Canelo easily but wouldn't put the effort. Worst thing is that he is too conceited to admit his "cuban ambien" style isn't all that.

I'm thanking the heavens i didn't buy this fight.

Yeah but let's face it, even if the cards were in his favor he would be headed there.

Rigondeaux got sent there himself off a big W!

Perhaps both these guys are the real deal and this was a simple clash of styles that resulted in a close fight?

    Canelo-Cotto....let's get it on

True but Rigo shoot himself in the foot worse than Lara did imo. Nonito couldn't really land anything yet Rigo didn't open up until that fluke KD.

Lara at least had an excuse since Canelo is waaaaay stronger than him.

Canelo should beat Cotto simply due to styles but both Canelo and Lara have big weaknesses any elite fighter could take advantage of.

:think I'd say Donaire is bigger & stronger than Rigondeaux, by the same margin Alvarez is bigger & stronger than Lara.

I personally disagree with that but i can see how you can make the argument. The reason is that the skill difference between Rigo and Donaire was far more apparant than Lara-Canelo. Rigo should've have known this was his one shot at superstardom and blew it against a guy he was hitting at will. Lara did almost the same but Canelo pressured him far more than Nonito and was skillful enough to keep Lara from totally potshoting him.

Btw how heavy was Lara tonight anyways? I know Canelo was 171.

A fighter having no real payday/opponent lined up and a total lack of interest from casual fans.

Yes, Golovkin would knock them both out.

At least Alvarez fought, while Lara ran. Lara only played defense, Alvarez landed some really good body shots all night and that upper cut did damage. Wonder if Lara has some broken ribs?

Lara ran? He landed the more significant shots in the majority of the fight. Not being the aggressor doesn't equate to running. There ere only a couple of rounds in which he truly ran and didn't throw enough punches, and in those rounds I had Canelo taking the rounds.

Even if he was running, why is hitting the air and landing very insignificant body punches any better?

It was the insignificant body punches that put Lara on his bike.
What makes a body punch insignificant?
You ever get hit to the body?

See both given him a good fight, and both would be the best fighters he has fought.
