You know a fight is a good match up when both fighters fans are in a state of shock thinking it couldn't happen. I'm going nuts... just like Drozzy, who makes imaginary RBR. My compulsive way of waiting for the fight is to count days. 19 days before the fight, 18 days before the weigh in, something like 16 days before the press conference, 14 days before a public workout, 5 days before Bute flies to England, 2 days before Bute comes to Montreal for 3 days before his departure to England. :nut
You're mad I literally think 2 weeks till pay day Just under a month until the fight 1 more day after that before I come on ESB and wind up all you Bute lovers I like you guys, (Almost all of you) good sense of humour, good natured ribbing and I'm always impressed by guys who can speak more than one language, it's a skill I wish I had.
Link here http://www.rds.ca/boxe/chroniques/339837.html Says they are confident it will be healed in time.
don't know what to think anymore: http://www.prosport.ro/alte-sporturi/box/ first the initial news, then Obreja dismiss it, then Bute says there is a blister from a new pair of shoes and there is nothing to worry about. And now, the latest news, there is an infection, he's on antibiotics and by wednesday the doctors will take a decision if he's boxing on 26th or not; and that it seems only if Bute contacts a coldness which combined with the treatment, only then could the fight be delayed by 2 to 4 weeks.
i think/hope is just hype; perhaps Interbox choose this momment, after the Cotto fight, to hype Froch-Bute
Well, don't believe the Romanian press and just believe Interbox, who are saying everything is under control. Antibiotics work well and fast on a skin infection.
Bute KO9 Froch, only because I ran out of inspiration. Ward was on HBO on Saturday, the Dawson fight has been brewing for 2 months already, apparently. Will probably hear something official by the time Bute fights Froch, so nobody will be able to legitimately call for Ward-Bute on May 27th. Not even Showtime. Come to think of it, especially not Showtime. :-(
Maybe Ward will change his mind when he'll receive the numbers from HBO. I thought he was bright to ask Bute to fight Froch first, in order to make a bigger fight against him later. Now he wants Dawson without any build up. It makes no sense. He said no to Bute for absolutely nothing if he fights Dawson straight away.
I hope so but Little Pea and his link from rds.ca confirms what the usually unreliable romanian press presents now. Maybe Obreja is just trying to hype (mostly himself) by saying the verdict on wednesday may be negative if Lucian's treatment doesn't go well.
