Infection Could Delay Lucian Bute’s Date With Carl Froch

If the treatment doesn't go well, of course he'll have to postpone. I had skin infections at least 4 times and it heals very quickly. I am sure Bute is receiving the best possible care. They will go back to the hospital just to be sure, that's Interbox duty. Bute is already reacting well to the meds so I am not worried.

I think this fight will go similar to Butes fights with Andrade. Froch is a bit better than Andrade but think the fight will be similar, and I dont mean Bute falling about in the 12th round when he was lucky not to be stopped.

If Froch goes the distance I think he loses very clearly

Calm down, he's under medication, is reacting well to it and should fight on May 26th.

Bute was about (Wednesday I think) to leave Florida. He trained on Saturday, was off Sunday and will take it easy today and tomorrow. A bit of rest is not necessarily bad for him, his training camp has been very long.

 

Blood infections can be pretty deadly. You can die from that stuff. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

Bad luck for Lucian, event the best it will hurt his training. If it was not Froch, I would be worried. Truthfully, Bute does not need to be at his best to beat froch.

I actually think he does, and he will be real close to his best considering this minor delay in sparring.

I'm kind of glad both Dirrells and Ward picked Froch to win. Let's hear their comments after the fight. :yep

 

Fighting in Nottingham he will be up against it at first, but once he gets in the fight there is nothing Froch has all to trouble Bute. It will be easy, granted hes healthy.

Who cares what Dirrell thinks, and Ward wants to downplay Bute right now.

Ward will of course say Dawson is the bigger fish, that they both cleaned up their respective divisions and that.. oh wait. :rofl

To build up a big two division champ matchup, Ward should fight Bute and Dawson should rematch Pascal.
