i'm sure it would also be in theaters here just like the mosley fight. it's good watching floyd's fight in the theaters here in the philippines compared to pac fight because there is not much people (only old folks and hardcore boxing fans) and the ticket is a little cheaper P400 compared to pac fight's P551.

i would watch as usual after a nice morning run...

No thanks. The last time I went to the theatre I saw Wapakman and its probably one of the best action movies I have ever seen. I'm really surprised it wasn't nominated for the foreign film Oscar.

 

This will do 1+mil buys easy and its not just a fight its an event. Floyd has many fans and many haters. Plus that will be mexican independence day weekend so its gonna be poppin!

 

I think Floyd asked for these promotions. And needlessly I must say. HBO has to do it for their own good.

 

Floyd didnt ask for anything hes just the most popular boxer right now so they gotta make this a huge event. Arum tried to go to showtime and do this CBS **** and everything else and still didnt do more buys then Mayweather-Mosley with no CBS

 

is it just going to be select theatres in the US? I'd be probably interested in seeing it in the theatres.... but dunno. The thought of sitting there for 4-5 hours doesnt sound too appealing. Hmmm

 

People are conditioned to stay quiet in theaters since they view it as "watching a movie". It's much better watching it in theaters than in other places with too much loud people, it's easier to zone out and focus on the fight.

 

I think it would be sweet. PPL saying chants in the movie theaters,screaming, kinda of like being at a boxing match. I wouldnt go only because everybody comes to my house to watch the fights otherwise I would go
