Ingemar Johannson 1958 vs Gerry Cooney, 1982. 15 Rounds. Would Ingo land his Bingo like he did on Eddie Machen and Henry Cooper? Would Gerry take the Ingo Bingo without folding?

I'd go with Cooney once he landed the big left hook, it be over with. Cooney was kind of quick as well, faster than Ingo.

Cooney would enjoy a 6 inch height advantage and a significant reach and weight advantage as well. Ingo had a pretty good amauter background though and was really good and fighting to his strength. He knew that right hand was his meal ticket and he would figure out quickly that Cooney was limited defensively. Most would be tempted to favor the much larger fighter in Cooney but I would not count out Ingo in this one. Michael Spinks was able to hurt an older faded Cooney. I'm not so sure the Spinks jinx was a harder shot than Ingo's Bingo.

To me it's a pickem fight.

When did Cooney EVER show the ability to take a hard hitters punch? What would happen is they come out rd 1, Cooneys legs a wobbling like a newborn colt. Ingo avoids a telegraphed left, nails Cooney w the right and there it is; THAT SPECIAL COONEY LOOK OF HURT, UTTER SURPRISE AND UH OH! THAT HE GETS EVERYTIME.

AFTER THE SLAUGHTER IS STOPPED AT 34 SECONDS OF THE 1ST, GERRY SAYS," I really don't know what happened. I AM SOOOORRRRRRYYYYYYYGG!!!!!!!!

You are correct about Cooney's r lack of resistance when hurt. He was the ultimate kill or be killed heavyweight. Like I said, I could see Ingo taking him out with that right hand.

Don't you love the special look on Gerrys face when he is hurt and dropped? Have you ever seen goofier?
