Time Machine fights with the element of surprise (earlier guys haven’t seen footage of the later guys)?

    that seems… unfair.

Exactly. With a little luck he might have a Bert cooper moment against Evander but I don’t see him winning

This way I see it Pug.
Yes he might wobble Holyfield but Ingo s gonna probably lose this one.
    Holy by round6 pounding imo

Holyfield before he bulked up vs Bowe in their 2nd fight was vulnerable. Stewart badly hurt Holyfield with a right hand, Cooper had him reeling with a right hand, Dokes gave Holyfield all he could handle and more.

I think people sometimes forget before the Bowe fights Holyfield was considered a mediocre Heavyweight champion who was a blown up Cruiserweight. Holyfield was not really setting the world alight vs old Foreman, Holmes, or vs the fighters I mentioned above.

I think Johansson could make it a good fight and hurt Holyfield badly with his right hand he had a very good one and lesser fighters hurt Holyfield with the same punch. But overall I see Holyfield weathering the storm and stopping Johansson in the 2nd half of the fight.

Machen had an excellent chin. He was rarely floored. Maybe only one other time -- by Boone Kirkman in Eddie's last fight. Was he even floored when Frazier stopped him near the end of Machen's career? I don't recall. But in a long career he faced some lethal punchers including Liston, Mike DeJohn and Cleveland Williams and none of them decked him. So give Ingemar credit. It took great timing and one hell of a right hand to knock Machen senseless. I don't think there's any doubt that if he landed one on Holyfield's jaw he had enough power to kayo him. Would he have done it? I don't think so but hey, Evander wasn't that hard to hit.

I agree with you that Floyd had intel on Johansson before their first fight. I'm almost certain he saw the film of Machen getting separated from his senses. Why am I so confident of that? Because Jim Jacobs, then the world's foremost collector of fight films, was close to Patterson's then-manager Cus D'Amato. (There were rumors they were closer than close.) Surely Floyd saw that film. But Johansson lulled him to sleep with his tactics and Patterson took his eye off the ball.

Sure, Ingo hit hard but Holyfield survived the likes of Bowe, Tyson, Lewis, Rahman, Mercer and Foreman. Ingo certainly didn't hit HARDER than those men, nor have better speed, timing and accuracy. At best and this is the totally best case scenario, he hit as hard as the above named. And I think that's being very generous.

So even if he hits Holyfield flush, Holyfield might be buzzed for a bit, but Holyfield comes back with a vengeance.

Even Scarlett Johansson would go 10 rounds with Ingo. Only a china chinned HW would get knocked down 7 times in three fights by
    Ingo.

Hoyfield wears him down, and Ingo hits the canvas, feet twitching like he was hit by a lightening bolt.

Ingo was known to be a puncher in his day.

Ingo floored Patterson 9 times in their three fights. But the seven times in their first fight really resulted from one punch which Floyd never saw. He said the hardest punch Ingo hit him with was in their second fight, round two. But that one didn't knock him down. Ingo didn't have much else, but that right hand of his was a beaut.

Only a fighter with a lion’s heart (instead of just the nickname) gets up six times, you mean.
