    The Patterson fights took a lot out of Ingo's chin, to add to his declining motivation and his lifestyle catching up with him. I think a 1962 match-up ends with Williams clipping him at some point.

    Pre-Patterson Ingo comes out on top of a shootout against the Big Cat.

    My friend Doug Lord hired Liston to referee a Curtis Cokes fight out in New Mexico. Liston got paid $1500.
    Doug gave Liston fifteen $100 bills. Liston several times tried to count it....getting up to seven or eight hundred, then turned to his wife and said: "Here you count it...and be sure it is right".
