I like Ingo by ko here. I don't think Walcott can take his power. Thoughts?

The positives of having a short career Ingo only lost to one opponent and it was a quality guy. He did beat up the British domestic scene and then Machen and Patterson. It’s a fair assessment to feel he would Ko Walcott whom had many ko losses to many different types of fighters. No argument here although Walcott could also win imo

Ingo's sharp-shooting takes this, but he'd need a while to get it just right. I'd say between 5-8, Ingo pulls out lightning in a bottle and ices Walcott.

Joe could win too, but I think this is a bad match up for him, although I'd say this is the right level to match Walcott.

Walcott fairly comfortably. He's simply levels about Ingo in skill and quality wins. People keep talking about Ingo's power, as if he's the most likely to stop Walcott, while I see it as the opposite.

    Walcott KO 8

Walcott was a better boxer and had a deeper resume. He could take it on points, but if Jersey Joe is a little careless at any point and Ingo's big punch catches him just right, Jersey Joe could be flattened.
A slight edge to Walcott, imo, overall.

At their absolute best Walcott decision....but that also doesn’t mean he doesn’t catch a nap either.

I would go for Ingo to draw Walcott into a big right hand and maybe Walcott would survive one or two knockdowns, but it would end up like the first Patterson fight.

This is one of those matchups that occur on here sometimes where there isn't really a wrong answer, both sides of the argument have sound points.

Elmer Ray couldn't keep Walcott down, and Ingo is unlikely to do so.Jersey Joe was a better boxer more versatile, more accurate, and could punch with either hand.He beat a a decent collection of punchers and he'd beat Ingo, by stoppage imo.

I think Walcott's timing and footwork would win the day versus Ingo, though I do see Ingo possibly delivering a knockout if he manages to catch Walcott coming in.

Walcott by mid to late ko. Joe slams an hook over from nowhere.

Walcott at his best soundly beats Johannson....a subpar version of Walcott gets stopped.

Yep, Jersey can't take him lightly at all.
