Ingo probably wins a UD but he could pretty explosive, moreso than Rocky, and could maybe get a stoppage
Hmm, Lastarza was a good fighter. But he did lose to guys like Bucceroni and Rocky Jones in very close fights even if he beat them both in return fights. He beat Cesar Brion, another good fighter and Rex Layne just after Layne was awarded a close decision over Ezzard Charles. So his resume up to fighting for the title was excellent. Unlike Roland, Ingo was the kind of fighter good enough to knockout the two best heavyweights in the world n back to back fights. That is quite a splash. I think Max Baer And George Foreman are the only other two to come close to this. When Ingo flattened Machen he was unbeaten. Then he knocked out the champion. I think this is very impressive. ...even if it is all Johansson ever did, his career practically ended once he did this. Perhaps he simply lost interest? Lastarza might have took an all time great to a split decision (people say Marciano should have lost) Well that is only like Doug Jones and Quick Tillis taking pre championship all time great fighters to close decisions. I don’t think either of those two are beating Ingo Johansson and neither do I think Roland is going to either. It would be a good fight.
Unless he's been spending more partying than training, Ingo takes this one, and since it's Patterson 1 Ingo, he's got this one, mid rounds KO.
