Ingo unimpressed by film of Liston, picked Marciano to beat him

Where’s the brigade of people to insist I'm a liar / bias etc for saying Liston has slow hands? LOL Liston most likely beats Marciano btw before anyone types themselves into a sweat making an assumption…

I think Marciano beats a lot of men that many wrongly believe he wouldn’t. Liston is one of those men.

 

CAN as in yes, there are scenarios in which I could see it playing out in the ring. For instance, Marciano is much more durable than we thought and the early Liston onslaught doesn't take him out. But I still favor Liston.

 

Goldman would prepare him well, I think he could, I’d bet on Liston doe if I had to put the farm on it.

 

Had Rocky not retired so early, this could have been a real fight and not a speculative fight that never occurred. If you believe the rumors about Sonny's real age, they were pretty close age wise too.

As slow as Ingo says Liston was, Liston still KO's Ingo. Likely in a highlight reel KO.

Ingo, is he that guy that got ko'd 2 out of 3 times against the guy Liston obliterated twice in under 5 minutes???? Can't be, surely.

I see he also picked Machen over Liston, he sure knows his stuff.

 

Ingo also KOed Machen in 1st round while Liston went to win very hard decision against Machen.

Also, I don't think Ingo would beat Liston but if he connects it would be night time for Liston.

 

The real key to the match is oh so obviously who sweats more.

 

I am sorry that your hero had a hard time with Machen while Ingo knocked him out in the first. I know that it still bothers you.
