But wasn't Larry Holmes on leave from a Rest Home of Retired Boxer's? Is Butterbean trying to replicate Gerry Cooney's style by padding his record with fighters who desperately needed to be retired sipping Metamucil and Geritol in the sunset. Larry was old. If Larry Holmes was in his prime as in his title bout against Ken Norton on June 9 1978, Butterbean would have shook the canvas in roughly 2 rounds, TIMBER !
