It's been already said that anyone could make anyone look bad in 2 rounds of sparring. Greb did it to Dempsey but I doubt Greb would have lasted 5+ rounds in a pro fight with him. The same is true with a 19yr old Clay and a very experienced Ingo in an actual fight.

It would all come down to timing. The jab and the hammer.

No reason to doubt the authenticity of the session. The nineteen year old Cassius Clay may well have still been a novice at this juncture, but his phenomenal speed was already evident.

I hope you are not going back to your Italian dictatorship ways, as you are a brilliant poster at your best, but your obsession with Ali seems to be sneaking back...

    No T Booze,

Just a clarification on the 1961 'sparring session for publicity'.

Funny how some will state that a young Cassius Clay 'embarrassed' INGO without
knowing any of the facts, other than reading a couple of incorrect articles,
and seeing some excerpts of a 'press release tape' for local Miami Televison Stations.

Yet forget, that a 'shaky' Cody Jones floored Cassius Clay for a 10-Count,
4-days before his bout with Sonny Liston in February 1964.

Seriously? A post praising Il Duce for being such a brilliant poster? You're surely not under the impression that people don't realise who you are?
