As big as Williams is, with Floyd's set of skills it would make for an interesting fight. Floyd can definitely outbox Williams if he can slow down his work rate and control the pace, not to mention I seriously doubt Williams has any clue on how to properly cut the ring off from someone with the movement of Floyd.

floyd's set of skills, as impressive as they are against handpicked opposition, would look totally diferent in with a Williams or Cotto or Mosley or Pacquiao. floyd fans can't understand how radically diferent and more complicated those threats are compared to the shell of Oscar, Judah and Baldomir.

floyd would simply be dominated and beaten up by Williams in a gross mismatch. The other three would beat floyd also, this is why floyd will not fight any of the above. He knows this and smartly avoids letting the truth out of the bag.

Each fighter you mentioned is incredibly flawed and PBF holds more advantages over them than they do over him. Your hate of PBF prevents you from seeing this.

Cotto poor defensivley retreats when faced with pressure easily frustrated, won't tie up and mentally beaten and ruined by a loaded glove Margo.

Mosley good vs guys who stand in front of him and are there to be hit not so good against boxers who use movement and have defense also not a very adaptable figter in the ring. Doesn't have a good jab.

Pac somewhat one dimensional and can't win a boxing match with PBF when his all out style doesn't work. He comes in wild off balanced and will be picked apart by PBF while doing so. Not to mention he has short arms and doesn't have a jab to keep PBF honest.

The only fighter you listed that has a great chacne is Williams who I would make a slight favorite over PBF at 147.

It was... and one that flew way out of proportion, as if jabbing alone was going to outpoint Floyd.

It does get pretty overrated. He had success with it, but he got lazy and once that happened and Floyd put his foot on the gas Hoya was dominated in those instances. He only used in spurts also, not consistently like I have suggested.
