Yeah like abbaskhan said having 1 above another gives advantage, personally i dont think its a good idea and id have 1 on the left and 1 on the right as is the tradition and maybe get the fighting stances/attacks from previous fights to allude to an all out war type of fight

That marbalized effect just makes it look like one murky mess and the two fonts aren't great.
It's most important showing the fighters clearly.

Honestly, I don't like either of them, but I'll try to give you some points.

I think it's important for both fighters to be the focus of the poster. I'm sat a couple of feet away from the screen and neither fighter is really clear. If that was on a billboard, I wouldn't assume it was Pacquiao, Hatton or even a boxing event. I think you need two clear pictures of them. Behind, you can have the flags of both men, but it looks better if the flag isn't included in the cut.

I think the fonts are poor. If you wanted to sell the fight as a turn of the century brutal brawl, then the "Fantasy" font could work. But the other font is well off, I think. The font should represent the sport. Have some eroded letters, if you think it's going to be a brawl, in the same way that if it was two classy boxers, you might use a flashy font.

The marbling could work, but it's too strong at the moment. I think that needs to be toned down a lot.

I think you have the right ideas. It's hard when you're not used to messing about with photo manipulation though, but keep at it, and it'll look great soon. Good luck.
