I think that was common sense on Coldwell and Hearns part.

You don't want a show in Liverpool when 90k people from the area are in London for a football match.

Ooh no you are getting me wrong. Moving it to the Friday was a good idea as the target audiences would be in the city. but this is the first time Danny has had to reschedule this fight isn't it?

Don't get carried away with Bellew. He is going to be a pretty boring fighter after the first McKenzie fight scared the **** out of him. He was safety first in the rematch and then didn't go all guns blazing vs Cleverly and essentially got outboxed over the distance. I expect him to once again be cautious and try to "masterclass" his way to a win. The concern for McIntosh is that he is simply not that good and not the most durable fighter we have seen so he might capitulate but lets not tout Bellew as this big huge explosive killer as he fights quite the opposite now (yet still talks as much **** as before).

Bellew used to get slagged off for being to gung ho and trying to knock everyone out, he goes back to the drawing board and tries to improve his boxing skills and still gets slagged off-can't win!!

The point is, hes never going to be "going to war" again due to McKenzie scaring the **** out of him. He will be trying to box his way to victory now. The only problem is that he's not that good of a boxer. However, he can certainly compete at domestic and european level. Against the likes of Dawson etc, it's not a contest as we all know.

Ticket sales will be helped by this postponement. Was stupid having
a boxing show on Grand National weekend anyway even before the
Merseyside semi final. We got 20 tickets for the Cleverly fight and i
was the only one going to this fight.
